Federer passed Lendl in finals, but Conner is still far away

The winner of the unprecedented 20 Grand Slam titles and world number 1 Roger Federer qualified for the 147th finale in his tennis career after he achieved a personal record with the 17th consecutive victory since the beginning of 2018 and eliminated Borna Coric in Indian Wells.

Thanks to the victory over the 20-year-old Croat, Federer has overtaken Ivan Lendl in finals - 147 vs. 146, but the leader in this regard, Jimmy Connors still has a big lead with his 164 title battles. Top 10 in this respect are Rafael Nadal (111), John McEnroe (109), Guillermo Vilas (104), Novak Djokovic (98), Rod Laver, Ilie Nastase (96) and Andre Agassi (90).
