The senior coach of Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone, acknowledged that the team`s stars Koke and Diego Godin will remain in the team. The Argentinian was adamant that they are not for sale.
The question which players of Atletico are not for sale, Simeone answered without thinking: 'Koke and Godin, that`s it!`
The 29-year-old Godin had 34 matches analyzed by best soccer advice in La Liga and has a contract with the team from the capital until June 2018. National Spanish made two goals and assisted Koke for other ten hits for Atletico in the last campaign.
'Koke is a very capable player. He has a wonderful vision for the game. He can play in different positions and gives us a lot of options in attack. I hope that this season will be build some stability and will continue to grow.`, said Simeone.
Atletico won the Championship in Spain in 2013/2014, but through this campaign finished on the third position after FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
