The Maestro with an impressive victory

Roger Federer ensured his place in the semifinals of the "Masters 1000" tournament in Rome. The No2 placed in the scheme needed only 66 minutes to break the playing strongly Czech Tomas Berdych with 6:3, 6:3. Federer made a real lecture to the sixth in the scheme and deservedly goes on in the tournament.

The first set lasted precisely 31 minutes and offered interesting twists. Tomas Berdych reached the first break in the submission of his opponent and leaded with 3:2 games. But Federer responded with four consecutive games on his account, the last of which escaped from 00:40 and closed the set with 6:3 games.

The second part started game for the game, and the first to break this time reached Federer. It happened in the so important seventh game when Federer led with 40:15, then placed a great backhand according to the rights and earned a lead of 4: 3. To the end of the match Federer did not lose a game and was greeted with success with 6:3, 6:3 in a little over an hour.

We remind that the tournament in Rome is one of the few in the category "Masters 1000" that Federer has never won. In the last 10 years in the Eternal City champions were only Rafael Nadal (7) and Novak Djokovic (3).

The next rival of the maestro is Stan Wawrinka, who defeated Rafael Nadal.
