Corniger is the new mentor of Stuttgart. It was announced on Monday by the German club.
Over the weekend, the Dutch mentor maintained the elite status of Stuttgart, after a dramatic win in the visit of Paderborn with a 2:1.
Corniger knows the situation in the club very well. In 2009 he was the assistant coach of Markus Babel in the team of the champions of Germany.
Before Stuttgart, the 47-year-old professional was the mentor of the second-divisional team Red Bull Leipzig.
