The Porto coach Julien Lopetegui could not be satisfied after the heavy defeat with 1: 6 against Bayern in quarter-finals of the Champions League. This result predicted by best soccer advice discarded "the dragons" from the race, but the coach admitted the high class of the opponent and said that he believes that "Bavarian" will be the favorites for the trophy.
"We did not play well in the first half. Bayern is the strongest team in Europe and is the favorite to win the Champions League title. This match will be a lesson for us. The opponent has a lot more experience than us in the tournament. They have a 300-400 games more. We fought as much as we could. We knew they would attack us on the wings, but only in the second half we managed to stop them. We lost with three goals difference from the both matches. Overall, we performed strongly in the tournament. Bayern is too strong - perhaps the best team in Europe. We played well in the second half, but our forces were not enough to come to turn, "said Lopetegui.
