Djokovic on the 45th semi-final in "Masters 1000"

The four-time champion of the tournament in Miami series "Masters 1000" Novak Djokovic reached the semi-finals. The world number one won in a challenging match over the No7 ranked David Ferrer with 7:5, 7:5 and spoiled the mood of the Spaniard, who was celebrating his 33rd birthday.

So Nole is just two wins from a historical hat-trick. If he gets a new title in Florida he will become the first with three wins in Indian Wells and Miami in one season. Djokovic and Roger Federer are the only ones with two victories.

Ferrer took the initiative in the beginning and made the first breakthrough and then lead with 4:1. At this moment Djokovic found his right rhythm. He returned a break after a marathon game and until the end of the set was unstoppable. In the second the youngest father reached match point by the Spaniard`s serve and get 5: 4, but the birthday saved. In his next pass, however Djokovic was ruthless and won the game. David Novak won David for the eighth consecutive time.

Djokovic qualified for his 45th semi-final in the series "Masters 1000", where he has 21 trophies. To defence his title, he must overcome his surprise opponent John Isner.

Nole leads with 6-2 wins against the US giant, which last night removed Kei Nishikori and previously overcame Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov.
