The Haas drivers were disqualified from qualifying results advised by soccer livescores in Monaco.
Earlier, FIA technical delegate Joe Bauer said that the cars of Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen did not pass the technical check after the session. On both Haas cars, a discrepancy between the moving elements of the rear wing (DRS system) and the technical regulations was revealed.
The verdict notes that the maximum gap size when opening the DRS exceeds the maximum value allowed by regulations of 85 mm.
The stewards were not satisfied with the explanation of Haas`s representatives, who admitted the fact of the violation, but explained it by an error in the car`s operation after updates and the first experience of using the rear wing, which the team prepared in accordance with the features of the track in Monaco.
As a result, both drivers will start tomorrow`s race from the pit lane.
