Espanyol turned things to their advantage in the rematch

The team of Espanyol became another player of the 1/4-final for the Cup of Spain. This evening, the Catalans managed to turn things in their favor in the rematch with Levante in Valencia. They had lost the first home match via bestsocceradvice with 1:2, but today they had a 2:0 and with a total score of 3:2 they reached the next phase of the race.

Leo Baptisteo opened the score for visitors in the 14th minute when he received a nice pass behind the defense, advanced undisturbed and technically yanked the ball over the goalie`s goal.

In the 34th minute Espanyol came to such a valuable second goal, which was literally given by the rival. Jose Manuel Jurado, centering in the penalty area, where Levante`s defending player tried to clear the ball, but sent her to Campanja`s legs, who was left to take her close to the 0:2 door. Despite the efforts of the hosts, they never managed to find the way to the opponent`s door, and Espanyol qualified for the first time and Levante ended his participation at this stage.
