England can`t win the European Championship title, claims the former national player Rio Ferdinand. The command of Roy Hodgson did not have any problems to reach the finals in France this summer, for the first time achieved in qualifying 100 per cent scores.
On the island, however, there are still doubts whether Britain is able to outplay the big favorites. Probably the controls with Germany and the Netherlands next month will give a better idea of the current state of the national team, but Ferdinand is now hired has the following forecast:
`From what I`ve seen, I don`t think England can pass the quarterfinals of Euro 2016. On the way to the trophy, it must deal with host France, with teams like Germany and Spain. I don`t think at the moment England has the strength for it.`, commented the former defender with 81 appearances for the national team.
England is in Group C of the Euro 2016 along with the teams of Russia, Wales and Slovakia.
