Aston Villa became interested in the Roma defender, Ashley Cole. This confirmed himself the team`s manager from Birmingham Remi Garde. He added that the club predicted by bestsoccceradvice will try to involve the defender during the winter transfer window in January.
Cole`s made 229 appearances for Chelsea in the Premier League, after having gone to Stamford Bridge from Arsenal in 2006. The defender then passed to Roma in July 2014, but has not played for `The Wolves` by March.
`I am interested in any good player, and Ashley is a good football player. He is a player who has significant experience but not played for some time. Our team has also need of experience.`, said Remi Garde.
